This course builds on from the Level 1 course.

It is a DESIGN base course. In this course students will:

  1. Choose to focus on Product Design or Spatial Design
  2. Complete a project in their chosen field
  3. Extend their ability to use visual communication techniques
  4. Extend the depth of their use of the design process
  5. Extend their use of design vocabulary


This course is eligible for course endorsement, as it includes an external achievement standard.

Recommended Prior Learning

A minimum of 12 credits for 2021 rather than 14 from Level 1 including 3 from the external AS.
