Maths & Personal Finance
This course follows on from MPF201 to develop the ideas in personal finance including investments, house financing, long term goals, Insurance and Kiwi Saver. The aim is to help students manage their own financial situations at University and beyond. The course is unit standard based but students can gain Merit and Excellence grades.

There is a need to be able to articulate your thoughts independently both through discussion and in written form.

Recommended Prior Learning

An acceptable level of aptitude towards mathematical studies at Level 2 as judged by the HOD of Mathematics.
