Mathematics and Numeracy 101
This course is for students who have found Mathematics in Year 10 difficult. The course aims to cover useful and applied mathematics and gain Numeracy for students. The selection of standards offered will depend on the individual studentâ€™s needs.
This course is based on Level 4 and 5 of the New Zealand Curriculum
Student would be advantaged by having a device and a calculator is strongly encouraged.
NCEA Level 2 Maths & Personal Finance 201
MATN101 is a required course for anyone intending to study trade courses requiring Mathematics and/or Statistics.
Recommended Prior LearningStudents will be placed by the HOD in the Level 1 Mathematics course which most suits their background and ability.
