Year 9 CORE - Science

Year 9 Science
Science encourages a sense of inquiry and curiosity in students, and develops the understanding to enable
them to make informed decisions about the use of science and technology in society.

Students learn about the importance of evidence in Science to support claims
and findings, and that scientific ideas are challenged and changed when new evidence
comes to light. There is an emphasis on practical work to engage students and develop investigative skills.
