Year 9 TECHNOLOGY - Industrial: Drawing and Design

Recommended Prior LearningYou will need a strong interest in designing and drawing by hand. You will enjoy being creative and wanting to develop your creative thinking and design skills. (NB: There is NO computer use in this course).

Dream one day of becoming someone who design products ?
Come and join the class and learn how to sketch by hand in 2D and 3D and learn how to develop your creative thinking skills. Then use your new drawing skills and creativity to work as an industrial designer on a design project.
Please note there is NO computer use in this course.
You will learn:
· how to draw in 2D and 3D by hand
· how to create and communicate design ideas through visual communication techniques
· how to use colour pencils effectively to show materials and tonal shading

Contributions and Equipment/Stationery
There is a $15 contribution toward consumable materials students will use.
Students will be required to purchase the stationery items on the school stationery list.
