Physical Education S201
This is a more practical based alternative to PEDA201. It retains some achievement standards from PEDA201, as well as including Unit Standards assessed by Kapiti Skills Centre where camping, high ropes, rafting and orienteering is the focus. It is designed to cater for students who may struggle with the full academic component of the PEDA201 course and prefer a more practical focus.



Contributions and Equipment/Stationery

STAR funding will cover most aspects of this course.There will be a 3 day camp in Term 1 or 2 and various single day trips during the year. The course costs for this course is $80.00.

Recommended Prior Learning


Students who did not take PEDS101or PEDA101 are able to study this subject. Those who successfully completed all aspects of PEDA101, but desire to do this more practical based course, will be placed in this subject at the discretion of the HOD. Students are able to study both PEDA201 and PEDS201 in agreement with the HOD.
