Course Description

Dog Kennels for the Wellington SPCA 2019
Projects are examples only and change each year.

This course builds on from the Level 1 course.

In this course students will:

  1. Extend and develop their making skills (Level 1 is basic; Level 2 is advanced; Level 3 is complex)
  2. Plan a build
  3. Complete the planned build to make a product
  4. Develop their understanding of materials and their properties

PLEASE NOTE: There will be costs for materials used for take home projects.

Students will be required to follow the workshop codes of practice for health and safety at all times during this course. 

This course leads into the Level 3 Product Design and Manufacturing course.


Contributions and Equipment/Stationery

There will be costs for the materials for take home projects.

Recommended Prior Learning

A minimum of 12 credits for 2021 instead of 14  from Level 1 Product Design and Manufacturing.
