Mathematics combined 301:
This course aims to consolidate and extend students’ mathematical skills, as well as further develop logical thinking and problem solving techniques. This is a mixed course which involves both Calculus and Statistics. This course is designed around the Level 3 Achievement Standards and Level 8 of the New Zealand Mathematics Curriculum. Students select a pathway in Terms 3 and 4 to best suit their needs.

Recommended Prior Learning
Compulsory: Merits in 2 of 2.6, 2.7, 2.12 and achieve 2 of 2.2, 2.4, 2.9, and a minimum of 16 credits
Students who do not meet these criteria may be placed in this subject by HOD discretion.
