MAO101 Year 11 Te Reo Maori - NCEA L1
The objective of this course is to learn, practice and master Māori language vocabulary and structures to communicate about instructions, rules, habits, plans, intentions and problem solving. We explore a range of everyday and formal contexts such as Whānau, Te Kainga, Te Kura, Hui Marae, Hākinakina and Mahinga Kai.
You will produce pieces of written work and oral language throughout the year for a portfolio which will be submitted for internal assessment and moderation. There is also an external assessment at the end of the year which gives you an opportunity to demonstrate your ability to read and write in Te Reo Māori.
