NCEA Level 3 Physical Education S301
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mr H. Burke
Physical Education S301:
This course offers a mixture of 31 Level 3 credits which are mostly Unit Standards. It covers the following topics: Rock Climbing, Injury Management, Coaching, Bush Survival, River safety and Badminton. This is a great subject option for students who want a more practical based PE option. The content and assessment of this course has no overlap with PEDA301 so it is possible for students to take both courses. Students who desire University Entrance should take PEDA301 as a priority, as PEDS301 is not a University Entrance approved subject but it is a great option for those who wish to gain NCEA Level 3. Students must have good attendance and be willing to attend days off site to complete the course.
NOT a UE Approved Subject
