Course Description

This course is run in the school workshops. It is a woodwork based course.

This course builds on from the Level 2 Product Design & Manufacturing course. Level 2 is advanced and Level 3 is complex knowledge and skills.
In this course students will learn:
- To further extend and develop their making skills
- To extend and deepen their knowledge of material properties and characteristics
- How to create an applied design to a product
- To project manage a project
14 credits will be offered.
Recommended Prior Learning
A minimum of 10 credits from the Level 2 Product Design and Manufacturing.
Contributions and Equipment/Stationery
There will be a $90 contribution toward the cost of consumable materials students use in their take home project.
Students are required to provide purchase the stationery on the school stationery list.

You will be assessed in this course through all or a selection of the standards listed below.
Total Credits Available: 10 credits.
