10 Drama:

A course for self-motivated students with a passion for the subject. If you are already creative and disciplined and you like to accept challenges, then this is the course for you. Studying Drama in this course allows you to become even more committed and self-managing both as an individual and in group-work. It demands of the students high levels of enthusiasm and focus. It is a step up from the work at Year 9 and offers an exciting program to prepare them for the work covered in NCEA at Levels, 1, 2 and 3.

Drama is both a practical and an academic subject, which continues through to Scholarship and University level.

There are at least 4 internal units of work, each of which is assessed using an NCEA approach. Students will be expected to keep an up to date journal with reflections and personal notes on the work covered.
