Course Description
This is a Fashion Design and Making course.
(This course is dependent on numbers and may be combined with the Textiles course if required. If it is a combined Fashion & Textiles course students will complete a project from each course; one fashion project and one textiles project.)

This course involves fashion design as well as making fashion clothes.
You will learn:
- how to produce fashion drawings
- how to develop your creative thinking and design skills
- how to use a design process to design and make garments
- how to use commercial patterns
- how to use a sewing machine
- about different types of fabrics and their properties

To study this course you will need to enjoy:
- drawing and designing
- being creative
- sewing
Contributions and Equipment/Stationery
Students will be required to purchase the stationery on the school stationery list, ready for the start of the course.
