10 Drama

A course for motivated students with a strong passion for the subject. If you are already creative and disciplined and you like to accept challenges, then this is the course for you. Studying Drama in this course allows you to become even more committed and self-managing both as an individual and especially in group-work. It demands of the students high levels of enthusiasm, effort and focus. It is a step up from the work at Year 9 and offers an exciting program to prepare them for the work covered in NCEA at Levels, 1, 2 and 3.

Drama is both a practical and an academic subject, which continues through to Scholarship and University level.

There are at least 4 internal units of work which are assessed using an NCEA approach. Students will be expected to keep an up to date journal with reflections and personal notes on the work covered.
